Getting "involved" or “connected” w/ Mosaic?
Walking into a community for the first time can be a threatening thing... we try to be welcoming and helpful to everyone who comes through the door, but we recognize that it takes some times to get one's bearings. With that in mind, here are some of the ways you can become integrated into the MOSAIC community.
Hang out before and after our gatherings on Sunday- get to know some new people, greet others, have lunch with some new people, discuss the morning and your week.
Welcome Coffees- When someone's been around for a couple of weeks, we try to hook them up with someone who's been around for awhile for coffee, sharing stories, and just generally saying "hello." Haven't had your welcome coffee yet? Ready to take others out for a cup of joe? Email Gary @gary@mosaicnashville.org and tell him!
Community Groups- we have a number of them started and starting in various areas of town. They are loosely geographically based, but everyone is welcome.
The Table- if community groups aren't your thing yet, we get together once a month for dinner, and conversation. The discussion ranges from music and movies to politics to theology and faith... and if we're really brave, occasionally we talk personally about what's going on in our lives.
The Forum- is a great place to get to know the people you seat beside at one of our gatherings... talk about whatever you like, share your views, and listen to theirs
