Mosaic welcomes James Tealy and Scott Hill into the mix. We are tremendously excited that God has raised up James and Scott from the Mosaic community to journey with us in Living the Story.


James Tealy: Ethos Pastor - helping us continue to discover and articulate our character as a community of faith - how are we living the story? How are we telling the story? Leadership development, missional living, strategic dreaming, discipling the creative community, helping us develop connection and community, on-ramping new leaders.

My role at Mosaic is to help us continue to discover and articulate our ethos, our unique identity as a community of faith. I am helping us answer questions like "How are we living the story?" and "How are we telling the story?" This journey toward ethos happens in leadership development, missional living, strategic dreaming, discipling Nashville's artist community, helping us develop connection and community.

James a glimpse into his Story -- I am currently a staff songwriter at Universal Music Publishing and travel leading worship and speaking at churches, conferences and student events. A New Orleans native, I graduated from Belmont University in 1993 with a BBA in Music Business and from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with an MA in Christian Education. I have served on staff at several churches over the last 15 years as a student pastor. I'm married to Shera, a clinical therapist in private practice in Antioch, TN. We relocated to Nashville from New Orleans in the days following Hurricane Katrina.

Scott Hill: Scott is coming along side of the Mosaic community to aide in the development of a Resident Program, lead in the development of collegiate ministry, develop relationships with N'ville colleges and students, assist in students journey in the kingdom of God with the Mosaic community, strengthen students who are the voice of God & Mosaic at each college. And do life in the ways of Jesus with the Mosaic community.

My role at Mosaic is to assist college students & others in the continued journey to discover the story of Jesus and live in the ways of Jesus. I long to do so through great conversations, imagining what life is like in the Kingdom of God, engaging with our community, the world and connecting others to this wild story that our Father has for us.

Scott a glimpse into his story -- Scott grew up in Mississippi. Is an alumnus of William Carey College in 2005. He is a passionate, fun loving guy who has done life in Africa, shared his story and the story of Jesus at Student camps around the country and has done life with the Mosaic Community since August of 2007.
