| i was just wondering when the group was starting. what format do you envision for the group? will the study be based some other sources that we could start reading before the first group begins? just wondering. |

paradise starts when all the rest of these start - not this week but the next one. so september the 9th would be the first night for this group. (someone please correct me if i'm wrong.)
i am envisioning a discussion based format for the group. we'll all take a look at a certain part of the scripture each week, sit with that passage for a while, and come together to discuss it. i'm not sure yet exactly what other sources we'll bring into play (suggestions are welcome) but there will definately be a few. we may take a look at them together on thursday nights or try to get them out to people in advance.
at this point though, the only thing to be reading would be the first 4 chapters of genesis. we'll see how far that takes us, and then branch out if we need to. |
