missiology is...
the church on mission...the church in action...loving God and loving people...following as disciples of Christ for the good of the world.
(for more on missional, check out Darrell Guder's "The Missional Church." quite a hefty read...but he makes excellent points.) |

| I am not sure if it has been out ...but, yes I have it in my own personal stash of books and wisdom. I will bring it and set it out for consumption. |

| I don't know if this really answers the question, but this makes me think back to the missionary anthropology class that I took in college. It really opened my eyes to many things that I thought were true but were really just the beliefs of my culture. Sometimes we see differences in culture and think that the other culture is wrong. It is so difficult, really impossible I guess, to totally put aside our point of view and see though someone else's world view. |
